Dr. Michael Bailey
Dr. Bailey grew up in the small town of Wauchula, Florida. He received his bachelor’s degree in zoology at Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama. He decided to stay for four more football seasons and is a 1998 graduate of Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine.
He worked in Destin and Orlando, Florida. In 2002, he became owner of Woodland Animal Clinic in DeLand and later added two more veterinary offices—Beachwood Animal Clinic in New Smyrna Beach and Volusia Woods Animal Clinic in Orange City.
He met his wife Dana while at Auburn, and they have three beautiful children. In his free time, he enjoys fishing, waterskiing, hiking, cross fit, coaching his son’s football team, and spending time with his children. He is involved with the community and is a member of the Rotary Club of downtown DeLand.
Stephanie is originally from Ocala, Florida, and she’s always had a deep passion for all pets, furry or scaly! She enjoys being a part of helping them heal and loves seeing their owners’ smiling faces as they enter the hospital. Outside of work, she enjoys adventurous activities like hiking and traveling, but also loves snuggling up with her dog and three cats binge watching Netflix.
Hi, my name is Lexi and I’m one of the technicians at Marion Veterinary Hospital. I have been in the veterinary field for almost 7 years now and I love every second of it. I’m a huge fan of cats (especially the orange ones), but love the pups just as much!
This is Elizabeth; she likes to be called Liz. Liz has been in the vet feild for two years. She loves taking care of your fur babies when you are on vacation or just in need of a day stay. She enjoys swimming, reading, watching TV and road trips. She cuddles with her two cats when she is at home. So bring your fur babies in for boarding, they will thank you!
