We Are An AAHA-Accredited Animal Hospital

Marion Veterinary Hospital goes above and beyond to satisfy clients' needs and keep pets healthy. Our team works together to provide our clients with the excellent service they should always expect. We have gone a step further and pursued AAHA accreditation to ensure that we are exceeding our clients’ standards and creating positive experiences for everyone. Consequently, we are the first animal hospital in Ocala to become accredited!

What Is AAHA?

The American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) is currently the only accrediting body for small animal practices in North America. Established in 1933, this organization has since awarded accreditation to approximately 15% of all animal hospitals throughout the United States and Canada.

The key to becoming AAHA-accredited is being able to meet or exceed more than 900 standards of quality in veterinary medicine. These encompass vaccines, behavior management, dental care, nutrition, customer service, anesthesia protocols, preventive care, and more. Our hospital must undergo rigorous inspection every three years by AAHA experts to maintain accreditation.
